If you put lowered springs in then you should really put shortened struts on.

Hi mate,just noticed your alloys after watching the vid. Just a thought the bottom spring seat on the strut is not resting on the top of your tyre by any chance, due to size, wheel off set.
With your wheels on full lock, and the weight of the car on the suspension, can you reach under and feel if you can slip a finger in there or visually see clearance between strut and tyre, just my two bobs worth,

The weight of the car on or off the suspension, full lock or no lock has nothing to do with the tyre touching the strut.

Front wheels are 8.5 +30 offset so the wheel isn't close to the strut at all

Nope still have to live with it, buying monroe shortened struts soon will let everyone know if it fixes it.
