Just noticed lately that my wheels I think are a bit squeaky. The noise isn't very loud and I am sure it is coming from the wheels. I haven't done much with wheels before but there is a wheel bearing right? Does it need to be repacked with grease maybe?

Thanks.

yeah definately wheel bearings. Depending on the state of them they just may need grease but once they start getting on in years its better to replace them (saves the wheels from falling off)

If the bearings make any audible sound when the wheel is turned by hand (obviously with the front of the car off the ground...), then they need replacing. If your bearings are buggered, you might wanna check the state of your brake rotors as well - they might need replacing too.
