Pressed the horn for about 5 seconds when some idiot in a truck pulled in front of me on a wet road, damn fool. Had my kids on board too.
Needless to say, i braked pretty hard too. Anyway, not straight away but about an hour later after a couple of stops. The SRS Airbag Fault Icon
appears on the dash and the red SRS warning stays on. And this happens each time I turn on the car now. Could it just be a case of resetting a code
or could I have done something by pressing the horn constantly for a period of time. Hopefully it wont cost me too much to put right. Cheers.

Possible that you've damaged the clock spring or more likely in this case, put too much pressure on the horn/airbag pad and done some damage. I'd start with a trouble code read and clear, if problem continues, prob need a new airbag.
