VZ S Ute
I have just got a VZ S Ute

I want a bit more grunt when I put my foot down (dont anyone say get a V8 haha)

I was thinking of an SS induction kit and an exhaust but...

Is the induction kit a DIY job and where does it go?

I have seen pictures but I can't work out if it bypasses the MAF or just connects to the existing air flow pipe.

Any ideas anyone or anyone had one done?

Cheers

then dont go for a ss inductions, just stick an k&n in, get a mcai with the 2nd hole mod,

then go for a tune if you want proper power gains

LOL!! SS Reductions..... WOFTAM. ;)

Go the second hole mod (although I'm yet to be convinced that the airbox is all that restrictive in the case of the Alloytec anyhow), a VCM tune, and if you have the spare cash a good 'zorst - There's a few tuners now who have squeezed another 35KW or more out of these with a tune and exhaust package.

That's what I'm doing as soon as I can afford it! :)

hahaha ss reductions, nah mate i would be looking at getting a HSV Airbox if i were you, i put one on breaths easier feels good n the throttle, its practically the same as a 2 hole mod just with out the dicking around, pick up an airbox from Holden for round 200 i think! then just throw a K&N airfilter in and your sweet

$200 for a airbox that does the same as the 2-hole mod seems a bit over the top. But true, steer clear of SS Inductions. Way to expensive for the gains.
