VE Commodore SS
Hi, new to site, just bought a 2011 VE SS, happy with it so far, but curious about the seats - no SS embroidered on them. I thought all SS's had SS on the seats? Or was it an option? Perhaps my seats have been re-upholstered?
Cheers

If yours is a ute, that would explain why no SS embroidered on the seats. If it's a sedan, maybe they are replacement seats from a ute, apart from that not sure why as they are all standard on SS sedans.

In the utes there is a SS badge on the backboard between the seats.
More then likely a cost saving measure.

Tony.

It's a sedan, the seats do look very clean though, makes me think they may have been re-upholstered

Pretty sure VE II's don't have the SS logo on the seats, I have 09 VE SS, it has the SS logo.

More cars than I've got space to park!
If the seats are from a ute they should have the trip-latch to fold them forward, sedans (well, four door sedans at least,) don't.

With series II the SV6 has the same seats as an SS, I figure Holden just wanted to keep it simple and not do SS logo, so same seat can go into SS or SV6. In the case of series I, the SV6 seat wasn't the same as SS.

Yep series 1 = SS logo
Series 2 = no SS logo.

Same whether it's leather or fabric seats.
