Well without a rev limiter it still would have stopped reving when the valves were bouncing in 1st or 2nd gear. Do it too much and the motor blows up. Not like theres more power or go at those revs. Most just change gear, it's not that hard.

He's saying he thought the car had more though.. Not holding it against a obvious limiter. I had no idea until this topic that my motor "shuts down" instead of hitting and hearing the limiter noise everyone is use to

It's fair enough anyone who owns a ve 6 litre will tell you they pull hard right to the limiter
