Daily drivable or not is all a matter of interpretation.

i have the 232/234 in my ve ss m6 , its a great cam made good power , not sure i would want to drive it every day in heavy traffic .
a change from the 3.45 diff to a 3.7 would make it a more pleasant car to drive and was recommended by vcm when i got the cam .

December update

All December mods have been fitted and adjusted.

Have to bed the new rotors and pads in over the next 300km.

Will be posting video of the work carried out.

I must say that these changes have totally transformed the car! The deference is massive. Corners flat, more steering wheel feedback which increases confidence in the corners.

No more axle hop in the rear, and in hard cornering the front no longer skids or bounces.

Brakes are more positive with harder initial bite with increased pedal feel.

Overall, extremely happy with the results, thanks Automotive All-Stars in Brisbane for their excellent workmanship and attention to detail. Car even got washed and vacuumed.

Ok,

Looking for a bit of community involvement here.

Next stage of my car will be one of the following.

Turbo kit
Cam upgrade kit
Stroker kit

Im leaning towards Cam or Stroker, preference is to keep the car NA.

what do you guys think?

Dave

Big cam FTW. The bigger the better. Gotta try and shake itself apart at idle.

Depends on what you want for the car. I got 300 at the rear wheels and 718 RWNM with a real mild cam, intake and mid pipe on my E3. Fast enough for the street (I do around 40 - 50,000km a year in it), sounds great and I have managed to keep the MAF in tact. Not massive power by any stretch but it holds it's own and is very well mannered in traffic. Of course if you only do 20km a day and hit the track every second weekend then dial as much power as you can afford.
