exactly,i nearly fell over when I saw the sign stating this,hopefully I won't need it,if I do I will get the ok from the missus for a new stereo-lol

Could easily pick up an aftermarket stereo with RCA and iPod for $50-100 bucks id do that and install a sub and amp while your at it haha

I'm amazed that so many codes go astray, I mean why are people taking the book and card out of the glovebox for - it's not like the standard stereo is even worth stealing.

Because you're are supposed to keep the card in a safe place and not with the car... it's just that it's a REALLY safe place.lol

most people when they trade the car on a newer model etc decide they want to keep the original books and don't leave them in the car when they onsell
also as above has stated,holden and every other manufacturer that has codes tells you not to leave the numbers in the car

really, both of my cars have the original books in them.

I get the whole don't leave in your car bit, but I'll be honest - I doubt anyone would break into a commodore and steal the Europox.
