My volume buttons simply fell out , but seeing I have put in a dvd/cd headunit

I put a double DIN DVD/CD player in my car also, and I "did" miss the wheel controls.I got an interface module for it,so now they work again with my new Pioneer player :thumbsup:

Related question - what sort of key unscrews the 2 screws that hold the access cover to get to the button modules at the back of the steering wheel?

secura torx, is what I have been told, and further more to this post all together is the fact that the buttons on the steering wheel are there is to stop you from taking your eyes off the road.

thanks, can anyone direct me to some info regarding removing the wheel to swap these button modules over as the existing ones are not good and i have a set of good con ones with the wires that looks like it simpy plugs in. Also, will i need to disconnect the battery so the air bag is not deployed?
