I would say its not the steering wheel, but your tyres might need to be balanced. Seems what it sounds like. try swaping tyres front to rear

You need to be more specific guys, what tire and rim size are you both running for starters.

There are many different reasons for this.

Cheers men.

I have the same issue in my 2008 E Series GTS had wheels balanced and alignment done improved slightly but still there.
I thought it may have been warped brake disc but under braking there is no pedal pulsing???? car has only 14,000km on the clock

I am experiencing the same problem on 20s. They have apparently been balanced when they were fitted, but since I have had my springs changed. I do think that Wholesale Suspension balanced it for me after working on it. Any thoughts? Is it just a symptom of stiffer springs and bigger wheels?

I have done a bit of research and some owners of VEs have had vibration issues thru steering wheel and it turned out to be tailshaft/yoke/dampener related , but i still cant see how this type of wheel vibration could be caused by tailshaft i would of thought the whole car would vibrate.
Any thoughts?

The whole car does vibrate but it gets misdiagnosed due to the fact you have your hands on steering wheel and can feel the vibration there.
