Hi All.
I have a WM Caprice L98 (S1) with an S2 IQ stereo conversion and factory BOSE amp/speakers.
It has always had a small amount of alternator whine but I have just installed a new (aftermarket) alternator after my last one packed up.
Since then I have had incredibly loud alternator whine through the stereo. I have checked earth points, checked the IQ's wiring loom for anything that looks out of the ordinary etc but all appears ok.
Has anyone ever had this with aftermarket alternators?
