Made a small batch of napalm, test it, worked well (almost burnt down a section of the fence). Made a much larger batch which I stashed away (not sure for what purpose) only to go back some time later and to find it was gone...... Never did find out where either.

brother in law was showing me his nice pen collection. so naturally i wanted to write with a couple of them see how nice they were. found a little black case on his desk and opened it. inside was a black pen looked really important, it had its own case. but how do i get the cap off and write with it. (he had left the room by this time). started playing around with it and clicked the end. thats when all this water started leaking from it just as he came back. he said "i see youve found my insulin pen injector"

Half-filled a .22 bullet casing with the powder from ring caps when I was 10, and put a small screw in the open end to try and see what would happen if I dropped it.

It went off in my hands.

Managed to blow bits of skin off both hands, nearly copped a bit of shrapnel in the eye, and had 2 more pieces of shrapnel removed via surgery 2 years after the event. Apparently the bang was so loud it sounded like a car backfiring.

ah yes! the shot gun shell! emptied all the powder out, figured the primer wasnt gonna be that much of a bang so put the gutted shell in a vice, a screwdriver on the end and gave it a whack....

wont ever be doing that again.

I did similar with a .44 shell, paper caps and a masonry bullet. was lucky not to get hurt though.

not so much curiosity but a prank - got an old orange smoke flare, set it off and flushed it down a toilet at the local beach public toilets over 20 years ago.

A few things we probably should have thought thru better -

1. Fortunately the methane gas in the septic didn't explode
2. It did actually go around the bendy bit after shoving it with a stick

Consequence:
Epic lols when orange smoke came up from all the dunny bowels and women walking out from the female half with really confused looks on their faces :rofl:
