Sub Woofer setups for VR/VS Boots

I have seen a few DIY custom boot Jobs on here. I just wanted to know if anyone has done one for a VR/VS. I am currently designing an enclosure. Was going to go with 10 inchers though I have heard that I could fit in two twelve inchers without sacrificing all of my boot space. So if anyone has any info or rough dimensions of their enclosures I would love to know.

also - What is the best way to mount them to the boot. Where can I drill holes without damaging fuel tank or wiring etc.
