If you have passengers when they pull you over to measure it everyone can get out of the car, it must be measured unladen (its on the vicroads website I read it a couple of months back).


Oh and stock springs in mine they have surely sagged hehe

Just for reference sake, the SL, SSL, and SSSL in the King Springs part numbers do not refer to how low they are. They are only for identification. A spring can have an SSSL part number and be a super low just like it can be an SL and be ultra low.

I just had a read of the modification page on the Vicroads web site and cut and pasted this bit, not sure if they measure it fully laden or not??

The ground clearance of a vehicle measured from a
horizontal road surface to any point on the underside of
the vehicle except the tyres, wheels, wheel hubs and
brake backing plates shall, with the vehicle in its loaded
state as specified by the manufacturer, be not less than:

1. For any point in the width of the vehicle which is
within one metre fore and aft of any axle, 100 mm;

Now i actually dont know what springs are in the car. Maybe someone can help. I do think they are SL though

Rear ones are blue so im thinking Lovells.....
