supercharger ?

Does anybody have knowledge on vortex superchargers.I have been offered one from a neighboring mechanical shop for a swap for a car I have in my shop .I have a std v6 vy commodore 5spd man and would like the extra punch. So can I bolt this thing on to my car. I'm after pros and cons please

You would need all the brackets etc to mount it to your V6, it depends if its a full Vortec kit to suit an ecotec or if its just the bare supercharger.

Sometimes the brackets/pipework alone can be worth almost as much as the blower itself.

Then you will need to think about a tune, you can't just whack it on and drive, it will need to be dyno tuned to suit the blower, this can go another $800-1000.
