sv6 faults and errors

Hey guys, after starting my car the other day a couple of things happened! I lost traction control and my cruise no longer activates but does turn on (if you know what I mean) and also my srs airbag has a fault.

I also need to replace my clutch because it is stuffed so I'm thinking that they are all linked apart from the airbags.

Should I take it to Holden and ask? I just don't have money for a new airbag system.

Take to your mech and get a scan tool on it to look at the codes and take it from there

do your brake lights work ok? have you changed any globes recently?

Yeah I put led tail lights on and interior led lights

Try changing the brake lights back over and see if the problem goes away, I think that they need a resistor inline to make everything work prpoerly

alright, ill try it later ey. thought they would come already set to go because i replaced the whole fitting.

i changed mine to led it shut down the traction control till i changed them back ... and the srs fault comes up if there is a change in voltage if your battery goes flat and even sometimes if you disconnect the battery i had to go to a mechanic to get it cleared otherwise the airbags don't work ...mine was from a flat battery ... but shop around holden quoted 80 to 150 to clear it others wanted 50 to 75 but i managed to get it for free after the mechanic taking 30 secs to clear the code .... also watch for abs faults flashing if your battery starts stuffing up

Cheers man, that sounds exactly right! My abs played up and my battery was dead and now I have no srs airbag because of it and no cruise control and traction control because of the tail lights, so does anyone know the resistor value??
