So allitle bit has changed since my last post i scored a brand new rear garnish thats on it now

Lowered the car

New exhaust

New stereo

Have also picked up a s3 numberplate insert for the rear bumper (isnt on yet)

Had a few chips and scrathes fixed up

Colour coded my manifold and has a vt 3 peice engine cover on it now

you might find the number plate insert wont work. i know the holes for the alligator clips are different. your current one will be rectangle, and the S3 insert the bottom tabs curve around. but thats just a matter off cutting new holes into the bar for the tabs.

when i had the panel beater do mine he said i needed the S3 bar, i vaguely remember him saying the holes from the S2 insert will stand out.


EDIT:

just went through my old pictures and manage to find a pic of when my bar was in the spray booth. this will give you a better idea of the cut out on the S3 bar.

i honestly dont know why the panel beater said it wont work. make some new slots and the S3 insert should go straight in
