T5 into a vs series 2

Hey guys postin for a mate,
He just wants to know if a vr t5 will bolt onto a vs series 2 ecotec? I have done series 1s with t5 before but I am unsure if the t5 will go to a series 2,

Sorry if this has been posted before but I cannot find anything about it

Any feed back will be greatly appreciated!

I imagine it will fit with a bell housing and cable clutch setup to suit.

Yeah it's a bolt up fit I'd guess and say the vr gearbox mount will bolt straight into the vs as well as the tail shaft.

So the fly wheels same? 8bolt crank??

The only difference between S1 and S2 is S2 had the Getrag and dual mass fly wheel.

Just do the conversion like you did before, remember to balance the fly wheel for the ecotec.

EDIT: yes the fly wheel is the same, you might need to drill holes for pins. My fly wheel diddn't have the hole for them so I didn't bother and it was fine. Just buy new fly wheel bolts and loctight them and crank em up tight.
