t700 gearbox wont go into 3rd

hey all i have a sv90 and when i drive it 1st and 2rd work fine but it revs out in 2 gear and doesent go into 3rd and it doesent skip to 4th either so i dunno if 4th gear has sumthing wrong wif it or not but 3rd gear dont work and i was wondering could it just be a kickdown cable or torque converter plz help?

umm so if i was to say my brother owned it when it decided not to change gears anymore he was doing burnouts in it would that make it more to be the kickdown cable or that the synchro or sumthing in the gearbox gave out? oh and also it does go to 4th but it takes abit of reving out before it does change tho sorry about the messed up info
