tentioner assembly question

gday all, I have a supercharged vs statesman and the tentioner assembly has failed, it's making that lovely knocking sound so it needs to be replaced, I've done this before on my old vs n/a ecotec so I know how to do it but I just want to clarify that the tentioner assembly off a n/a ecotec is the same as the supercharged one, it looks the same but being supercharged is there any difference in the 2 tentioners ie.a stronger spring inside or something.
