Its happened to me aswell. My back 2 speakers arent working on the vt, i defently know its not the speakers coz i connected the same speakers in the front and they worked perfectly. I got a feeling its my channels on the stock vt headunit. I do think its your headunit. Many people have experienced this problem too, when they replaced their headunit all speakers worked perfectly. Does anyone know if you can fix this problem with having to buy a new headunit.

get another stock unit, wreckers or holden dealership. other than that, try and get it fixed.

Just had to completley re-wired my left-rear door. The harness gets squashed (from where it exits the pillar area) as the door is closed. Of the 12 wires in the harness, 9 of mine were cut right through. This may be your problem.

Take the kick-step off and identify the speaker wires there. Run a couple of wires from there (before the possible break) to your speaker. If it works - that's your problem.

Are you talking about replacing the wires to the rear doors or to the speakers on the parcel shelf ??
