This is an abomination of a Commodore.
I already thought the VE was ugly but this takes it to a new level.
This car has as much Pontiac content as my wife's Suzuki van which also has the same Chevrolet content as a Commodore. We should just have generic badges for all cars.

Dont know what the designers were thinking (maybe they werent), but what ever drugs they were on it must have made their design look good.

Well you have to start some where. Its a pity they didnt improve the VP from there. They actually went back wards until the VT

First of the fantastic plastic commodores. I agree square instrument panel, went out in the 40's.

The only thing I dont like about the VE is the small tail lights. The car is too bigfor that style of taillight combination. The VE looks mean from the 3/4 view. Wish I had the money for one.
:shooting: But the worst ever commodore to roll off the production line would have to be the VC 4 cyl Commodore. What a total waste of metal, fabrication time and what ever else you want to include.

This poll would be more accurate if each model was separate, each should have it's own category. There is no consistency in those that are grouped together and those that aren't ...
Comments are based on appearance and not including any engineering / performance factors.
For me, the VR and VS are just plain boring so they get my vote for the most ugliest. Followed by the VK, I have no idea what they were thinking there ...
Next is the stupid head and tail light combinations on the VX's followed by the little park light cut out on the front bumper of the VY's.
Putting the starfire 4 cyl engine in a Commdore was the stupidest thing Holden ever did (should have left them only for the Corona's)
The best would have to be the VT, perfect, well balanced lines all round. Remeber the TV ads Ford had at the time for their AU's, showing the VT as a dressed up pig? We had the last laugh there!
Following that would be the VP Calais, a nicer cosmetic extension of the already nice VN's and of course the beautiful lines of a VH SL/E.
