What car? Could just be the new model year change over.

It's an EL falcon (I know, I know) the compliance plate says 04/1997 but manufacture date is for 1998, couldn't find anything online really :/

compliance plate is when it was built, im assuming your manu date is viq vicroads? if so thats the date of first registration.

by "compliance plate" youre talking about the metal plate, not the sticker?

Just for the record: I didn't even want the EL, I was looking at commodores since I thought I was getting some sort of say, the car is a Christmas present from my boyfriends family and his parents love Ford, so that was it
