Thermo Fan Issues

So I just bought a Manual VS Ute. The only issue is the thermo fan isnt working. I noticed the fan fuse was blown so I replaced it but it still wouldnt turn on even at 3/4 of the temp gauge.
I read on another thread that you can test the fan by unplugging the temp sender and turning the car on so I tried and yep, the fan spun up but only for about 5 seconds before blowing the fuse.

Any ideas? these fuses are like $8 each so trial and error will get pricey pretty quick.

For anyone who finds this in the future, it was the fan.
Check your wires for a short, test your relay and if its still blowing, its probably the fan. Mine seemed fine, there wasn't much resistance at all when you manually spun it and it all seemed in check but it when swapped out everything started working as it should.
