Never been invited to one, nor would I go. I think they add to post natal depression, which is very real. That's worrying.
you write random sh*t you have no idea about
why not write something worth interesting reading and replying @ it"s call communicating ;)

Gender reveal parties.

I still don't see the point in them. Dragging your friends out for half a day to a full day to learn what gender your child is that to be honest, nobody but yourselves really cares about.

Even if it was one of my closest friends, it makes no difference to me what gender their child will be. While I'm happy they are becoming parents etc I really don't need to spend half a day finding out what gender YOUR child is going to be.

The problem is, these aren't replacing baby showers these are now an additional party/social gathering on top of that. So it's just more attention seeking of new parents wanting to be the centre of everyones universe because they are having a child.

And don't even get me started on the cringey things they do at these parties (cutting a cake to see what colour is inside, pink/blue burnouts, popping balloons to see what colour confetti is inside etc) and then all the friends and family having to forcibly act all excited for the news etc.

I don't know maybe I'm just old school but I really don't think the fact that you had s*x needs to stop everyones lives for a party.
back in my childhood all i remember people say after being asked the gender was '' i dont care what gender it is as long as its healthy''

Easier to post "random ****" & block/ignore the idiots that get upset.

That is just stupid reply/explanation, it doesn”t make sense
Why bother to go on a forum and just post single random **** to no one and then block/ignore people who call you out your bs.

You might as well just communicate with yourself in a padded call and stop wasting time typing. ;)

Wouldn't it be ironic if you joined a forum and then blocked all the other users who post on a regular basis.
