Try this guys:

then cut and paste this into the search window:

Thinking about a bigger throttle body for your car?

Then press "I'm Feeling Lucky"

:eek:hmy: Thanks heaps guys!

Ha, but now i am more confused. I think its probably cheapest to go to the reckers and get a 5LT throttle body which will bolt straight onto my series 2 ecotec engine?

Does anyone know what I should expect to pay for a half decent one, or should I go brand new?

Thanks,

throttle body

gday i upgraded my throttle body on my 5.0L. It was 5mm oversize(70mm) and it was very hard to notice the difference in performance.

I acutally bought a bored out one, (70mm). You can see the difference in size of the buttferfly shaft compared to a standard one. It increased the power very minimal, but my acceleration is so smooth now. It almost as smooth as a VT/VX so it is definity worth while.
Cheers,
