It’s normally in the 20s at idle when I used to check it on my old SV6.

Pretty sure it should be 13% once the idle comes down after start up.

Yeah it starts at 28, i give it a tap and it goes down to 13%. ive just seen its max is 38%. faulty sensor most likely or would there be an error code if throttle was actually f*cked

if ur sitting there with key on or just in neutral then the throttle has a limiter so 38% may be that

Good idea to unplug it when you clean it.

Unless there's an actual problem that you've identified and effects how the car drives, don't base your problems on what you think about the engineering numbers. There are a number of parameters that govern idle speed and how much throttle is needed to maintain that idle.

just some of the throttle and pedal pids and they all do something slightly different as some are throttle area based and some are percentage based and are used for different areas
