Hey can anyone help,
When i first start my VT Berlina it has a very load ticking noise coming from the engine. It lasts a couple of minutes and gets quieter as it heats up.When then engine is warm it is quiet. What can it be...........:idea3::axe:

use 20w50 oil in summer and 15w40 in winter

have tried this and still no change with my car any other ideas would be great thank you.

PS in todays world, how do you know what is Summer and Winter lol i cant even remember the last time seasons were correct

How many 's has it done? If its around 200k then the ticking is just general wear in the motor. Things not sitting like they use to as well etc. They all do it. If its really gettin to you i recommend using a valve silencer when you do oil changes, lasts for a few weeks..
