Is it possible to Tint the Headlights of my VT Commodore ?

I want to get the black monaro / gto / gts coupe headlights but from Holden they are like $600 for the pair :b:

Could I tint the side indicators and spot lights aswell ?

And also the garnish of the boot, and the tail lights, can they be tinted ?

Cheers :D

Give us a pic of the headlights you wanna copy.

I hope your not talking about tinting the entire light, like I've seen on some cars.. That looks totally stupid and totally illegal.

The Genuine Holden Monaro Headlights are $600 for the pair.

I want to tint the headlights so they are not as clear looking (the outside)

and the indicators and spot lights.

And I heard there is a spray on tint that can be used to blacken out the Garnish on the boot of the VT commodores
so it is not that ugly redish colour just a nice black tint.

And I want to know if you can keep going onto the original vt tail lights aswell...

you'd probably find that you'd just make a mess of the headlights .. the stuff your talking about is called Niteshaed .. used on the actual lights themselves (so it darkens a light) is illegal and can fail your RWC/pink slip. Used on the garnish would be ok and would work fine there if thats the look your after .. I think for the headlights you'll have to buy something .. whether its a genuine set or an aftermarket set from ebay or wherever .. I doubt youd be able to properly paint em without buggered em up..

rear light setup I think!

I'll search ebay now for the monaro headlights!
