Torque setting to tighten the brake caliper bolt when changing front brake pads on VE.

Gday folks, Does anyone know the torque setting or point me in right direction for the torque setting for the caliper bolt (12mm i think it is??) when tightening back up after changing the front pads on a VE commodore?

2007 ssv manual
I’ve never bothered torquing the caliper bolts and never had any issues just do them up tight and call it good, put a little bit of blue loctite on the threads if you’re paranoid

been a while since I did a set... but my recollection is you DON"T remove the calipers to change pads on VE

I don’t think anyone in history has replaced the bolts or torqued them. FT for the win.

Good point. Undo the guide pin and swing it back. Out with the old pads, in with the new and tighten up the bolt again.

Maybe he changed the rotors as well.

i remove the bolts to clean and lube the slide pins and i think the torque specs about 30-35nm but i do them up as tight as possible and recheck about 1000km

The specs are in the manual and the manual specifies that those bolts are discarded and new bolts used when reinstalling)…
