my mat ewas after one on his VS so we had a look around. i think it was $2-300 for the usual one, and about $5-600 for the whole hog with braces etc if you want to tow a boat or house... big stuff...
That was at pro shops. second hand diy will be cheaper of course.

But the rubber shin guard for the hitch. Best $5 I ever spent. I seem to have tow-bar seeking shins.
