And this morning it stopped working, drove to gym, finished workout, hopped into the car to go to work and it was working again
so maybe I need to replace the ABS relay? Could be on its way out?
What do you think ?

I'd think you need to get the ABS Module fixed. They tend to fail once they get to a certain age. Check out auto_reman on eBay. He repaired mine in about November last year and it's still good.

$150 for the repair, $15 postage each way.

Awesome, thats not too bad
My car is due for a service, few other things need attention
so might ask my mechanic how much it costs to do that and see who's cheaper

The trac control and CC goes on and off by itself even after changing the CC fuse

Your mechanic will be more expensive I guarantee it, will most likely offer a reco at $300+

I'd just grab one from eBay, I've had to do one of these on my car and the job itself is a breeze.

All you need to do is ensure you get the exact some electronic module. The model is unfortunately on the bottom once you remove it.

I considered a second hand unit for mine for a second, then thought it would probably be better to get mine fixed for 50% extra. Couldn't afford a new one, and figured a second hand unit could fail soon enough anyway.

When I bought my car it had a repaired one installed, I replaced it with a used one and it's still fine.

My other car has the original one still installed.
