Hu guys. Ide thought ide drop a question in here.
I was driving my VS around on Friday night when all of a sudden i started smelling burning oil... I stoped to check the engine and it seemed fine, oil was there.
I kept driving and eventually after stoping at a traffic light i noticed that ide put the peddle down... but the wheels where moving.... "WTF" needles to say was my first reaction.
I drove into a shopping centre poped the hood and checked the tranny oil. Nothing in there. so I bought some tranny oil and filled her up. the engine warrning light is still on and the car still doesnt move like it should.
You take off in D and it feels like its only in third gear. But going down the gears help.
Only thing i can think of is a broke a seal and oil isnt going to the tranny propperly and instead is getting burnt up on my exuast.
Any one have any ideas? theres still a faint odhour of oil burning and redish (tranny fluid) spots on my concrete.
If it is just a seal. whats the best way to get it fixed?
