too right mate, ill give him a call and ask him about the warranty and what he overhauls in the transmission and see if he does the same stuff as the workshop that charges $1100

ill post tommorrow i reckon, ill chase some info up and let everyone know..

another small workshop quoted me $500 if i bring my unit in and hell reco it.

I would be willing to bet that the price will be alot more than $500, thats just to get suckers in the door.

he quoted me originally $1000 but said the price would drop $500 if i can bring it into him, but your probly right id hand it to him and he would probly ring up saying ohh mate ive hit some problems lol

As i said did you try JRM transmissions morphettvale - he does good work at reasonable price?

JRM transmissions quoted $1100, but he said thats a full rebuild, new torque converter and they do few little other mods to make the transmission shift a bit smoother etc.

im gonna buy a 2nd hand transmission and then i will throw the old transmission in for a rebuild to keep in the shed as a spare
