Great work, Hozy...that image is awesome...even though it made me sad. :(

Anyway, what a week...first Irwin, and now Brocky. :( This has truly been a terrible week...Brocky is the last person i expected this to happen to. :( I never met him, but from what i've heard, he was very nice. To be honest, he was actually one of the main reasons i became a Holden supporter to begin with. Ah well, with any luck he's probably up there in Heaven right now giving Irwin a hot lap in his original condition A9X Torana. :D

Rest in Peace, Brocky. We'll never forget you.

I just can't believe it. Another great Australian gone doing what he loved best. I was lucky enough to witness most of his career from the mid 70's onward. He will remain in my memory. Those most treasured memories being the days of my childhood when he drove torana's. Then, in my teenage years when he moved on to commodores. A great ambassador for motor racing.

It all just seems so sureal, HSV and HDT should team and make a broky commodore, sell it on ebay a dontate the proceeds to his/family fav charity!

edit: from wikipedia...

He was due to star in racing film King of the Mountain alongside Shannon Noll in early 2007

I hope they can still make a movie based on his career.

Nice tribute thread Hozy...This still hasn't sunken in for me yet... I'm getting all choked up here reading these tributes and remembering the times that I idolised him as a kid when PB was dominating Bathurst in his A9X Torana and Commodores.
