do the trip computer buttons in a vs have a backlight as mine doesnt seem to light up

yeah all that works i just wanted to know if the buttons to the trip computer lit up im sure they do but im not sure

Mine dont light up either, also my rear demister and power antenna down dont light up. Is replacing them a big job ie. taking off the dash? or is this simple?

Its easy to replace the globes... only undo 2 screws (above the cluster) and then you can pull the surround off (held on by clips) look in the how-to section... there is a how-to in there.

The globes screw in from the back of the buttons... just twist them out using a flat head screwdriver.
