Trouble starting and stalling strait away

Hi all i have a problem but first a question i have had intermittent prob with
central locking so i have changed my BCM now do i need to do anything elss as
my car will not start at all if you turn key normally but if you turn key back and on fast
it starts but stalls strait way as if immobiliser is on
do i need to have any codes done buy a mechanic

I've never gone down your path but have herd changing bcm can require a tech 2 tool to reset for example. I'd suggest call a mobile auto elec explain in detail what you have done. It will cost a bit but peace of mind...

your bcm supplies a security code to the ecu
you will need to link the bcm to the ecu with a suitable scan tool
from memory it asks for the new bcm security code which i hope you have
then you will need new remotes for the new bcm again need the code
