Cheers guys, I brought a house and did alot of renovating so ive just started back on the car again. Updates:

VL Clutch master installed, adapted to VK pedals.
Nissan Slave installed to T56, bracket made.
Brought 80mm alloy polished T/B and adapted/ bored the bananas to suit.
Modified the VK K-frame and bolted up a VL rack and steering shaft.
Hunted down some engine mounts, accidentally let the last ones go with motor.
Beat up the tunnel for the reverse lockout solenoid.
Bolted all the motor and gearbox together.

Yesterday I swung the motor and box into the car and was annoyed to find the sump dosent clear the K-frame. The motor is sat up and the sump is off, the engine is an HSV mantra engine so maybe HSV runs a bigger sump? I am unsure, if anyone knows the difference between carby and efi/ hsv sumps I would be greatfull. Looks like a simple mod to the sump is in order anyway.

Now have to do something about shifter position and make up a gearbox mount.

Thanks for looking, heres a quick chop of what im going for:

Turns out the motor is sitting to far back, the engine mounts arent right for the commodore so ill have to modify them, it will help with shifter position, sump fitment and distributor access.
