Turbo shaft play?

Hi guys

Is a Turbo supposed to have the VERY slightest shaft play? i would assume so otherwise it would be too tight?

My friend wants to buy a t3 its new but has the VERY slightest shaft play?

can have some even new they have a very very small amount i give it ago as long as it isnt stupid

yea im the same no shaft play backwards and forwards and its almost 0 up and down

u need to have some, theres less once theres oil in side but all standard bearing turbos have some degress of up down/side to side play, should have none or almost no end float
