im not 100% sure, as i have an ecotec but maybe remove the elbow including throttle body, u may be able to cut the 3 mount points on the elbow an get them rewelded so the elbo faces the drivers side.. cut and reweld or just weld a few nuts (or bolts, dont know whats mounted on what side) in the corresponding locations
this may be the easiest.. the other way would be leave the mount point n cut 1cm back and spin the elbow then reweld..

im a lil uncertain how the throttle body bolts up, but u should be able to spin it 180, so the linkages are still at the top..

make sense? :)

pic curtiousy from greenfoam :) shows the mount points

unfortunatly it's not that simple cause the elbow is oval where it mouts to the manifold and you can't just turn it over. you would need to cut and weld etc. it would probably be easier to to get a totally new one manufactured

it would fit as i though about doing a twin TB setup with the 2nd TB coming in from the other side(and i know there is enough room). i still recon it would be easier to fabricate a new elbow the nto modify your excisting one though. it certainly makes sence to get the intake away from the excessive heat of a turbo

could you cut some pipe say about 100mm long.. maybe bigger and run silicone bends to get it round? silicomne is probably the only other option before having to fabricate a hole new intake pipe from metal.

aZk.
