[Buick] twin throttle body manafold

hi all i have a stroker v6 i was talking to the chip torque dealer here in townsville the other day in regards to tuneing it for me he told me to get the heads done and a twin throttle body manafold as he has tuned a few before and got 200kw at the wheels i am wondering if anyone has made there own and have pics of them as i have a few ideas but some more would be greatfull

You could try Mace they may be able to help you and are a site sponsor. You probably could get away with just going a 70mm throttle body though.

maybe 200rwhp but not 200rwkw with a simple stroker. a 200rwkw n/a V6 (buick/ecotec) is still the magic number to beat. MACE definitly did do one in the past and there is another crowd that advertise in SC that do a twin TB manifold for the buick engines. basically they machine the top off the standard manifold and then make a new sheet alloy top with 2 TB's hanging of the side

from memory they come out std with about 130kw 3.8l its 4.2l now with a realy good set of heads twin throttle bodys a decent cam 36lb injectors and a tune i cant see me not some impressive figures i was told by the tuner he has done a few of these in the pass and getting 200KW. when the engine was in my vn it done a 15.00 with stock heads and rocker gear not tuned and a set of paceies

factory VR V6 was good for 130 flywheel kw, not rear wheel kw - BIG difference!
130fwkw would be closer to 100rwkw.

yeah, there are a few guys who are getting real close with non stroker 3.8 V6's but they aren't basic combo's

This manifold would look ace in a commodore bay, shame it only suits the turbo buick heads
