Type S Cold air inductions

I was looking on the forced induction technologies webiste and found the following cold air intake

Has anyone fit one of these on just a standard. ie non supercharged motor (extractors and exhaust fitted however) and has it made a difference. they do not claim large killowatts, but definately claim much better throttle response.

Any thoughts would be apprecited.
