I've thought about this as well. But it'll be a pain in the ass cutting in and out all the time. Better to have an external speaker and just mute when you hear something you want to listen to. I have an in car UHF CB/Scanner combo and it just scans between 29 and 40 as thats all I listen to now days. Most organisations run off trunked systems and its a pain as you only get a part of a message before some other organisation uses the same frequency.
