I understand that people always want to build a v6 that beats a v8 as some sought of pride thing.

But if pure speed is all you want a v8 is always going to win.

And if your going to stick with the twin turbos then a V8 between those pupies will kill.

sorry to hear about the vl though

Ohh, no good to hear about your VL, too much thrashing around with out a tune?! :p
lol,

I was only joking about it being a small motor in there :) Obviously a V8 would make more power, but do they have different categories to run it in engine size etc? A V6 TT might be a good option, keeping the weight down aswell?
If its an open category/engine size type affair, then maybe a V8. But depends what you're after in the end :D

Either way, keep us posted :D:D

Believe it or not, the VL did make it all the way home.....mind you, it sounded pretty ugly and was probably only a few turns from spitting out all it's innards. I pulled the engine last night, I might have a look inside it later just to satisfy my curiousity.

Engine's back out....worst one yet, I have never killed one in a single day before, usually takes a cpl of months

If I find any gnarly bits, I'll get some pics of them too
