Speaking of Sandman, this reminded me to ask Dad about his Sandman panel van that I remember him having when I was young.

I remember it well but couldn’t remember the model, he said it was a HQ Sandman 5l ‘308’, does that sound right? It was black with purple lines down the side, I remember what it looked like, I loved it as a kid.

We had a close friend of the family that had a Holden wagon also so I asked about that, he had a 1977 Holden Belmont, I remember that really well, had a redback spider in the gear knob, haha, that was white with blue stripes.
