hey,
I have been thinking when it comes time to change the radiator in my VX V6 is it possible to put a radiator out of a V8 in it, Also do the V8's have stronger bigger fans that would just plug into the existing wiring for the V6 fans?
If it isn't possible what is a good alternative? just want a bit of extra cooling, 46 degree day i would like to take a bit of stress off the car, plus bigger fans is more air over the condenser meaning cooler A/C.
Cheers

I suppose it's possible.
But if the car isn't over heating on a 46 degree day then there is no need.
Also, for the amount of "hot days" we have per year, imo it would be a waste of time and money.
If you were putting a bigger engine in, then yes, you would have to upgrade.
Unless there is something wrong with the cooling system, it shouldn't over heat anyway.

I have a feeling I'm going to need to replace my radiator as within 12 months, I'm about to do my 3rd complete coolant flush as it's super dirty again... I'll be keeping an eye on this thread as to suggestions etc as I wouldn't mind making the engine stay a bit cooler and the air con being a bit cooler when used aswell.

a vt 5.0 ltr will fit 100% you just use your normal v6 rad cap, but you have to mod the fan shroud in a couple of spots nothing to major though. that what i did to my cv6 monaro.troy
