Any links / vids to remove the upper trims? Assume the centre trim has been removed as in swapping out the IQ unit. I need help with removing the panels up to the windscreen on both the left and right side of that centre panel.
Thanks

I have lots of notes. Lots of photos but putting it together as a guide is a huge job.

The job itself is huge. If you have any issues with the HVAC, now is the time to do it because it will be highly accessible.

Best download the factory manual.
The manual has dead links (unless connected to Holdens intranet) however using the search function will locate them if you use the terms in the links.

You need to enable the side bar in the pdf reader to navigate the manual.

There is no series2 manual available. Everything is the same as series one other than the engine and gear box.

If you are leaving the dash assembly in and just removing the trims, remove the side trims where the air vent is.
Remove the top speaker panel.
Remove the a-pillar trims (maybe, can’t fully recall) then you can pry the demister trims up, which clip on.
Do not use a screwdriver for such things. It’s like watching a Neanderthal repair a computer with a rock. Use nylon trim tools. Everywhere sells them.
Be prepared to replace clips that get lost or break. EBay will be the easiest source for them.

Go to 25seconds.
Set play speed to 0.25 in the video settings on YouTube.

Shows removing the demister trims.
And no people, you can’t just drop a VF interior conversion in unless you rebuild the car with a VF donor.

This car is not your average VE and most people know Clickb8 from the burnout scene.
