- 1979 Commodore VB
Hi all ,
I am about to drop the engine in and the box but I am having trouble with the following and really need help.
1978 commodore VB with 253, aussie 4 speed manual
When I took off the box, it had a pull type fork (pic below) and the the carrier which had a bearing incorporated together was off
VN commodore, I was told (pic below when the box came out)
Now I bought a clutch kit and the bearing they have me does not fit this type of pull clutch fork .
I was told that the fork clutch I got is not for VB rather for HZ or WB ..
My question is simple please see what I got in photos and please advise what the hell should I get to make this work
My project has stalled and I am getting more confused
1. Do I get another VN carrier with the bearing attached as it came out and use the existing clutch fork
2. Do I get a vb v8 clutch fork that suites the bearing I was given when the clutch kit was purchased ( bearing standing on the white box, pic)
no idea guys..
