Today I noticed my brake lights were staying on even when the car was off, so I removed the Brake lamp fuse, now when I go to put it in it makes a sound like when a fuse pops, with a tiny blue light and a bit of smoke, should I be concerned about this? Also when I go to put my Parker fuse in (1) it makes a sound through my speakers

First thing to check would be your brake switch, disconnect that, put your fuse in, then check to see if your lights are on again - I guess the pop and flash will occur if they are too!

I never thought of that, how do I disconnect the brake switch?

Do you have a towbar? trailer plugs are the most common form of short circuits, due to meatheads installing them.
