Vs Berlina Series 2
I have 2 subs in my car, one is a soundstream x pro sub, and the other a pioneer champion series sub, under load the champion series sub cuts out and stops working till i turn it down, then turn it back up it will work for a little bit and cut out again, need help as to why this is happening ?? I have checked all wiring, power, earth, remote, amp to sub, everything seems fine so why is it cutting out ? any help will be appreciated ?

its a 1000rms amp running a 600rms sub, should go hard... posted in the audio section here 2 and guys reckon it might be the gains and stuff on the amp so might play around with them

are you saying that both subs are equal to 600wattsrms? or do each sub have a different amp? if its all on a single amp, then try swapping channels.

sounds like the protection in the amp is kicking in and shutting down, how many amps? how is it wired up (separate channels, parallel sub wiring, bridged)?
if only 1 amp why do you have mismatched subs instead of a matching pair?
is there a fault/overload led on the amp, does this light up?

could be a blown resister. had that in my speaker amp. had to wire it up so both speakers run off the right channel alone.
